Looking for a committed enthusiast to potentially re-home my lovely pre-facelift 1995 728i in stunning Calypso red metallic. I am a huge fan of the E38, and especially the 728i, having had every variation of them from 3. 5 V8 to a couple of the V12s.
I cohost an annual 7 series event and meet (which I hope the new owner will attend) and have had a good look around many of the other examples on the road.
Anyone who sees inside or out of this car is astonished at its condition - and the best part is that this is just how it is - it's not restored - it's a cherished survivor that was garaged for most of its life. P211 KMB was owned for most of its life by a lovely mature lady, who early in its life traded it for another car, then some years later went back to the same dealer to find a new car and in the lot was her old car which had coincidentally come back in from a customer. She had to have it back and kept it from there on out until I got the car last year. So 2 of the 5 previous owners were the same lady, not bad for a car just shy of 30 years old.
It has no known issues, everything works beautifully. It is a pretty simple spec but has had the front seats upgraded with heating (invoice present for over £700!) - and it is very nicely done too. Electric seats, electric mirrors, electric windows, electric tilt-and-slide sunroof, soft close boot, air conditioning, CD changer - everything works perfectly. The car did not originally come with the phone, and I put that in for display purposes - it does not function or receive power.
The original BMW mats are near enough mint and complete, everything is complete and there are several keys.
The bodywork is excellent - with only a very very minor bit of corrosion starting at the rear end of the passenger sill, and on rear end of drivers side rear arch. On the interior it is the same story - almost like new, but the headliner has sagged and been pinned up so will need doing to be perfect.
The car sits on the lovely style 2 16s with a full set of Pirellis - and there is a full size matching spare.

Sadly my garage does not accommodate an E38 and this is one of the reasons I am hoping to find a new home for the her.
No group viewings, max 2 people no exceptions - not interested in low ball offers, there's plenty of rusty wrecks out there for you and your lowball budget. With 143k miles and a superb service history, including a fair bit of work done recently - this car honestly presents as one of the best UK supplied and unmodified or restored early E38s on the road.
P211 KMB boasts 27 service stamps across 2 service books (first one started over flowing!) and comes with a pile of old MOTs and invoices.
