Description
Originally a 1979 French bike, first registered in the UK in 2020. Listed as historic vehicle, so tax is £0 and it is ULEZ and MOT exempt. 14k KMs shown on the French speedo, the bike is in good working condition and starts with a few kicks. I bought the bike in 2023 and had the frame professionally stripped and powered coated to remove surface rust. I also blasted and sprayed all of the small brackets, clips, side stand, handlebars etc to remove surface rust. The tank (no rust inside) is completely original with French stickers but does have a few minor marks and chips, but no major dents. The wheels are original and do have some surface rust on the chrome, as I personally like to retain some of the original patena. The bike has a new battery, headstock bearings, chain, fork seals and plenty of tread on the tyres. All the electrics and lights work as they should and the engine runs really well with no rattles or smoke. Although not fast by today's standards, the bike is really good fun to ride on quiet country roads and it can comfortably get to around 50-60mph . Imported from France in 2020 and 1 previous UK owner. Some prior French paperwork.
