1993 Mercedes 190 LE 2.0 Limited Edition

This is a Rosso Red Mercedes 190 LE Limited Edition model.
Dry stored example much cared for. Retained on a battery maintainer.
Will be sold with a fresh MOT which is being done on 27/ 03/ 25.
As a girl petrol head I have driven these brilliant cars since the day they came out. Many versions.
I have owned this example for a couple of years. Sometimes people stop me and say: ‘they don’t make them like they used to’ other comments are: ‘What a lovely colour’ and ‘makes me smile’.
There are several of these around. So why did I buy this one and why am I selling it?
I liked the colour, the clean condition and the fact that it had been well cared for by the previous owner. I liked the good MOT history. (Look it up on the government website using the registration number)
The car inherited this number plate from previous owner, and will stay with the car. The car has been serviced by Ian Studley Cars in SHIPHAM, North Somerset, nearby. They will be doing the MOT prior to sale.
During the time I have owned it I have not used it much, however I can vouch that it runs very well and smoothly. I have driven it to Bath on hedge lined roads and to The Pig. I drove it once to Cardiff and Hertfordshire.
I am selling it because I am not using it and believe it should belong to a lover of these cars who can give it a hug and possibly owned by someone who can understand the under the bonnet attributes. This example needs to be seen and also to explain the ash tray has never been used which I liked. Also wheel arches great condition.
I’m having elderly parent duties and something has to give. I can not sell my elderly mother so have reached the conclusion that I have to part with the car.
I believe a potential new owner might be a person who has a bit of spare time to give it and also has a touch of wanderlust to enjoy it like I have.
I am pricing this car below the price I bought it for and the costs I have spent on it! However I know that the new owner will be the right person and will further enhance it for its next ownership chapter. The car comes with paperwork pack also: V5C document and New MOT booked for the end March 2025.
