Description
Bought during the 2009 financial crisis from a struggling reseller. Fully restored in 2013 to its original condition using only authentic parts, including hand-painted pinstripes, cotton-braided wiring, and more. The suspension and engine have also been rebuilt.
Comes with several original accessories: a tire pressure gauge, hand pump, owner's manual, and a few unused surplus parts purchased during restoration (e. g., a new chain). These are included with the bike.
Kept in a private collection since restoration and remains in full working condition. I start it up once a year and take it for a short ride of a few hundred meters. However, it has never been used for long trips since restoration—my longest ride was to the MOT, about 30 km away. It’s a Soviet copy of the German DKW NZ 350. With its distinctive two-stroke sound, classic design, and enjoyable ride, it’s a true piece of history from a regime that no longer exists.
The first Soviet civilian model to feature both front and rear suspension—built for the rough, often non-existent roads of its time.
Equipped with both a foot shifter and a hand shifter mounted on the tank.
