I am selling my beloved R100 RS for two reasons, it doesn’t really get used very much, I have other bikes and I really don't have the space for it.
I have had the bike for three years, it was an impulse buy and I have loved it from the first day I got it. If I had endless space and the time to use it, I would not be selling it.
If you are looking at this then you already know all about these bikes so I won’t bore you with my thoughts on it, they are head turners by looks but also by noise, it is loud! Very loud! No matter where you go with this bike you will be approached, people just want to know all about it, you don’t see many or any others about much these days, they are few and far between so now is a time to grab yourself a classic that is only going to get rarer and go up in value.
This bike is a 1987, so it is fast approaching the 40 year classic age so no more tax or MOT’s. The other side of that is, it is a near 40 year old bike. It is in good condition in my opinion, it has 52000 miles so about 1400 miles per year on average and that may go up if there’s any nice days before it is sold. It has had no problems come MOT time, sailed through with no problems at all.

Thanks for looking. The noise on this bike just puts a smile on my face, riding through city streets it just echoes round the buildings and I imagine blows the ears off people it passes, in a good way of course. You just watch the heads turning when they hear you coming.
I love the look of it. The boxer engine is unique, I just love everything about it.
