Description
I'm unfortunately having to sell this absolute beauty of a car. I've had her for just over 2 years now, and truly ticked that box of owning a mini that every petrol head dreampt of.
This car came as standard with the 1275 A series engine, which was the biggest engine they produced from factory. This means that theres plenty of grunt and lots of noise from this thing!
In terms of the work that has been done to the car, there's been a lot in the last 2 years to get this thing to the condition that it is now. New subframe mounts means that it's structurally solid and everythings good underneath. Whilst the paintwork is far from immaculate, there is very little rust, the worst being on the driver's door sill, which I actually have the replacement panel for, but it is something that I have never got round to.
The exhaust has been paired with a stage 1 tuning kit, which includes a new intake manifold, air filter, and I have also had a larger carburettor fitted and tuned to really make this engine work it's magic.
The rocker cover and radiator have both been replaced recently to improve both the form and function of the engine. The real drawing point to this car for me was the fact that 1993 was the last year Rover produced the mini with a carburettor engine. This was something I was not willing to compromise, as the endless horror stories of problems with the '94 onward SPI and MPI minis terrified me.
