Description

If you know your Buells then you know the ins and outs of these models. at 65 this is no longer a bike for me, more suited to a Buelligan!
My own personal bike for 6years, with some very tasty upgrades but NOT too over the top as you see with many of them.
It has the machined from Billet LSL top yoke, complimented with the stunning handlebars with gold anodised brace bar.
This is so much better, a more upright riding position and aids massively with traffic awareness, plus the matching "LSL" footrests and hangers, stunning items machined from billet, only the top yoke is still available to order from LSL Germany at £369 plus costs.
The bike also has the full set of R&G crash protectors and bobbins all round x6, the rear double as stand rollers.
It has the beautiful 'Rizoma' Pully guard and cover , aftermarket tensioner fitted.
An LED rear light which is nice upgrade.
New genuine Buell upgraded headlights.
Not forgetting the LSL fuel filler cap, a masterpiece, alloy anodised billet in gold.
A brand new Yuasa battery also on board!
From the engine standpoint it comes with a "Race use" ECU and full Buell race exhaust, which is a transformation! much sharper all round.
Also R/ H Air scoop for better cooling of the rear cylinder.
Titax shorty levers multi adjustable stunning items, (standard included)
Genuine Buell alloy lower belt guard.
Have replaced the manifold inlet rubbers, and seals on the injectors as these can leak over time, it has new plugs fitted.
Also a new TPS (throttle position sensor) has been fitted and adjusted correctly.
I have replaced the fuel pump as the old one I thought was noisy but was working perfectly well, the tank is nice and clean and the bike runs on esso 99 premium +, almost zero ethanol, less then the E5 stated, this is the only grade of fuel that works great in these bikes in my opinion.
Corrosion wise these can suffer from our British winters, this one though has been seldom used in my ownership and never in winter, and is in very good order, with very limited corrosion, the rear wheel rim, which is par for the course with these does have some slight degradation but overall it presents well.
It has the expensive "Techspec" aftermarket knee grip material added to 'tank' cover and frame which are substantial items and gives it a nice finishing touch, with obvious protection,
The tyres are very good.
should you wish to go back to standard I do have many of the standard parts as in the photos added (no top yoke or bars though)
These include the following;
full set of hangers complete for rider and pillion.
original mirrors, small scratches to one.
front pully plastic cover.
brake and clutch levers.
Buell tool kit (minimal)
Tank filler cap.
The bike is legally in my possession, HPI clear, v5 all present and correct, no outstanding finance or bills whatsoever.
4 owners from new 12, 600 miles in 21 years., plus it is an official UK bike not imported from holland or wherever.
In my opinion this must be one of the best Firebolts in existence, in very good condition, with a nice array of expensive but subtle upgrades, certainly none available with these specs for sale at present in the UK, if you add up all these additions its a tidy sum, thus priced accordingly.
