Description

Willys Jeep 1942 Ford GPW JEEP in fantastic condition having been restored over a period of 20 years by a retired engineer.
Built on 1st December 1942 in Dallas USA.
Part of an early 1943 contract supplied to British Army.
Characteristic British Jeep identifiers such as Butler Lights, Rear Axle blackout light and switch. Also buff logbook showing date of discharge from British Army and all previous owners.
This Jeep is pretty much completely original including original body tub and attachments including many f marked parts including wings, seats and windscreen which are very rare.
Axe and Spade, Jerry Can, Tyre Pump, Split Rims, Bar Grips etc. Engine is a 1943 Willys believed to have been fitted after discharge from Army. Engine completely rebuilt. Brand new Worthing Hood. Original 6 volt system.
Even has an original 1942 Maintenance Manual.
This Jeep has done only 600 miles since restoration and I believe it is unique and a great investment.
Any inspection is welcome.
I am based in Cumbria so be prepared to travel but it will be worth it. Owned for last 4 years . V5 in my name and address. Please call do not message. the details below.
