1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500 restoration project.
This vehicle was a stalled restoration project and was subsequently placed in storage for around 20 years. I purchased it originally in this condition and have completed no work on it.
The car requires complete restoration, although some work has already been completed. The body is also released from the chassis.
Repairs have been completed to the left side floor and a new sill has been fitted. A new inner rear wheel arch has been fitted to the left side along with a new rear valance and repairs to the boot floor. The steel boot lid is in superb condition.
In addition, the car has a roll bar fitted and a twin stainless exhaust. The engine turns and is not seized.
I have the latest V5 and a clear HPi report with the car.
If you are interested in the car, you will need to come and see it to ensure it meets your expectations. I will not sell the car or consider offers unseen.
Note that the car is missing one road wheel and as in the images, also the left rear wing. As with all stalled projects, there may be other parts missing. What you see is what there is.
