1991 Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo Manual 5 Speed

1990/ 91 Right Hand Drive 3. 0L 9b Twin Tubo 4WD 5 Speed Manual 90s Japanese Gran Turismo Omologato. 149, 768Km / 93, 061mi although this may increase slightly. MOT’d 19th February 2025, with no advisories. 7 Previous Owners.
Imported into the UK from Japan in 1998. A rarity with imports, I do have the original documentation from the dealership where it was purchased and some of its original service history. There is lots of paperwork with the car, Including the original Dealership paperwork folder, with handbook and business cards. A separate folder with MOT history to receipts for parts and work including services. The private registration I have had valued independently at £2, 000. Timing chain was done at 128, 965km. The underside is solid & had a full Lanogaurd treatment to protect the underside. The jacking points are solid, which is a weak point on these vehicles. I purchased the GTO privately after spotting it tucked away in a garage in 2016. The mileage on the MOT History switches between Miles and Kilometres as the speedo has a MPH sticker on but it is actually the original KPH speedo cluster fitted and it does read in KPH. There is a small dent in the front near side wing from the previous owner. The car is as original apart from the 18” alloy wheels, with wider rear wheels, sat on Uniroyal Rainsport 3’s all round with good tread on. There some period correct accessories, the rear ashtray, HKS SSQV, HKS Silent Power, original tool kit and the original radio will also be included, The Sony head unit will remain fitted (this also has a remote). There is a separate switch to override the popup headlights as well. This a 34-year-old car and it does have age related marks on it, there is stone chip and marks. The paint as far as I can tell is all original, with some touch ups to the classic Japanese plastics. The heater and its controls all work as they should, but the screen unfortunately is more temperamental, but it doesn’t affect its functionality. Sadly one of the alloys has some curb rash on it. Viewing in person Is highly recommended.
The interior is trimmed in the Race Carbon full cloth, which was a rarer option, although the steering wheel does have a cover on as the original leather wheel isn’t in the best condition. Featuring Active Aero, 4 wheel steering, cruise control, pop up headlights, cruise control, Sony double din head unit, pneumatically adjusted bolster in the drivers seat, electrically adjustable drivers seat, bucket +2 rear seats, space saver spare wheel. I also have a set of flowed Stainless Steel manifolds for the car, which will come with it. I purchased back in 2016 where it had been stored undercover for some time. After an intial recommisioning and service to get it back on the road, I used it for a roadtrip through France it was just fantastic, didnt miss a beat the entire journey and still fires up first time now. Unfortunately due to other projects and vehicles, I now need the space.
