I purchased the car in 2017 with comprehensive binder of details.
I have had various jobs done to the car, some minor and some major. The first was to send two gauges off to be refurbished. I intended to keep the car as original as possible. Then I had to replace the radiator.
I decided to have it resprayed in 2019 – pictures attached, then in 2020 I noticed some degrading in performance and two cylinders with low compression. When the garage had the car they said that one of the previous owners had obviously not used the lead replacement so the valves and seats were badly worn. I decided to have a full engine rebuild to maintain the history of the vehicle rather than have a replacement at a cost of £2, 700. I had the carburettors fully serviced too.
Replaced the Starter motor, new carpets and much moreI bought this car to enjoy driving around the countryside, and have attended the 3 local car evening regularly. It is fun to drive and has attracted much attention.
