2018 CCM Spitfire Scrambler – number 210 of 250 ever made.
Completely original as ordered from CCM and never ridden. Ordered by me from the factory and has never been used. It has spent all its life on display in the heated reception area of an office building and kept out of direct sunlight. Essentially, I bought it as a piece of art and talking point. It has just 3 miles on the clock from factory commissioning prior to delivery. It is started and run every few months and has just been sent back to CCM in Bolton for them to inspect and service.
Back in the 70's, racetracks echoed to the sound of rolling thunder when CCM took on the mighty teams and won. The Spitfire Scrambler takes its styling cues from those glory days when the young Alan Clews would commute during the week on his bike then take it racing at the weekend. With the classic scrambler riding position, rugged dual sport tyres, extra ground clearance and un-swept pipes, the Spitfire looks very much at home off-road or cruising down the Kings Road.
Looks fantastic! It has some very carefully selected optional extras including lots of machined aluminium and carbon fibre parts plus the Monza style fuel cap. It is connected to the original trickle-charger from CCM and gets started every few months, levers pulled/ pressed etc and wheels turned over on the carpet. It is immaculate, no marks, scratches whatsoever. I have the original standard parts for it, the keys, logbook, document wallet, sales invoice, delivery ticket plus the recent service invoice from CCM complete with stamps in the service book. At the recent service, CCM Bolton gave the bike a thorough inspection and replaced a number of items under warranty. Registered in the UK with a V5 Registration document.
