Here’s a bit of history:
This is an original 70 GTX built in August 1969.
Originally a 4 barrel 440. Alpine white. Black vinyl roof. Old stripe coach work trim.
No Airgrabber hood car.
It is one of only 7202 ever produced and there are only 4 known examples in the UK!
Car has been owned by Dave Billadeau for 21 years winning several trophies. This car featured in classic American magazine issue 264 (April 2013)
Specifications and equipment:
Engine is a matching numbers block. Forged pistons. Scat rods. 06 heads. stainless valves.
Compcams springs. retainers & locks. Crane rocker arms. Aluminium 6BBL intake with X3 Holley carbs.
HP exhaust manifolds. Dynoed @ 417 HP/ 505 ft/ lbs torque (through cast manifolds)
Transmission: Turbo action full manual valve body. Frank Lupo torque converter.
Axle8. 75 inch-489 casing. 3. 55 Richmond gears. Sure-Grip. 7290 U. J's.
Interior: Legendary gold interior and carpets.
Wheels: 7x15 & 8x15 Rallye wheels.
Exhaust: 3 inch Flowmaster.
