Description
1971 Rolls Royce Corniche, a rare beast indeed and having scanned the market, prices are currently ranging from £40, 000-£65, 000. With the originality and service records, a worthy project indeed for an enthusiast or trader alike.
- Jack Barclay car sold to Regency Garage, original silver mink with dark blue interior, special features included fog lamps, radial tyres, sundym glass throughout, stereo & tape player, rear height control valve.
- Rhd auto, 6750cc
- 5 owners
- 82, 974 miles
- Comes with original sales invoice/ warranty, Rolls Royce construction & test records, previous mot’s up to the early 90’s after which it has been largely dry stored as evidenced by the mileage.
Between 2015 - 2022 vehicle was recommissioned by previous owner, bodywork included new sills and a bare metal respray in 2017, mechanically the following was carried out:
Brakes & handbrake components rebuilt
New front/ rear glass seals
New master cylinder
New hoses
More recently the Hydraulic brake system was reconditioned
Fuel lines cleaned
Fuel pump rebuilt
Brake pump rebuilt
Torque converter was replaced and
Headgasket
Since then the car has been stored.
Bodywork is perfectly presentable, nice and straight with little signs of rust, including the underside. Chrome presents well aside from the rust on middle of front bumper.
Although I’ve had the engine turning off the key there are some mechanical parts missing and no brakes, although this could literally be low fluid. Little attempt has been made as I’m currently juggling 3 major house projects. These combined with no longer having my usual storage place force my hand to sell.
* The drivers door card, drivers side front/ rear carpet and boot lock are somewhere in storage, will try to unearth before auction end but as it stands they are mia.
Can assist with transport if required or likewise with shipping abroad.
