Mercedes 300 SL 1988 Reg Superb Metallic Willow Green, with full MTex interior in beige. Matching hardtop, chocolate soft top. The car has only 3 owners with a mileage of 107, 070 miles. A full MB service up to 2005 with 33 stamps. Subsequent servicing work undertaken, has been fully recorded and documented. Externally the overall bodywork is fine with correct panel alignment and paintwork, with only a few small blemishes. A full underbody inspection was carried out recently with remedial work on sills and wax oiling of all cavities, a very sound car all round.
The interior is fine, given the MTex is very hard wearing, and does not loose it's shape, showing no notable wear. The walnut veneer presents well, with no deterioration. Whilst having the car for 7 years the water pump, alternator and fuel pump have needed replacing which you would expect with a car of this age. All in all, it is a credit to the previous owners how well maintained, a very 'honest ' car. Toad Alarm has been fitted (Thatcham 1 ) approved. Overall the car is a joy to drive and with a stainless steel exhaust most reliable. A head turner which is nice to say, with such a great colour combination and presence.
