This gorgeous bay window was imported from a dry state in the USA.
The current owners have cherished it for 10 years & have spent a lot of time & money on it.
It has always been well maintained by aircooled VW specialists, & with its fresh MOT is ready for more adventures.
Left hand drive, with a factory fitted, strong running 2. 0L type 4 engine with Weber ICT carbs.
It has an electric fuel pump & electronic ignition, so starts immediately.
Additional gauges keep an eye on the engine too.
Standard 4 speed manual gearbox shifts perfectly every time. No missing gears or hitting reverse by mistake.
Steering is nice & light, and the wood rim wheel is a nice addition too.
Brakes are as factory with a servo. They are super sharp & pull up great.
It has an adjustable ride height front beam & is lowered very slightly at the front.
It still has the comfort of a factory van.
It has a Clifford alarm & immobiliser fitted for security too.
Inside has been retrimmed with comfy seats, inertia reel seat belts in the front, 1 in the rear & 1 rear static lap belt.
There is a sink with electric tap & a single gas hob as well as a clean fridge.
There is a leisure battery setup & an expensive Kenwood & JL Audio stereo setup which sounds great.
There is plenty of cupboard space as well as extra storage & cup holders between the seats.
The van comes with a set of Just Kampers thermo blinds, which are black out curtains held to the glass with suckers.
The rock & roll bed it so simple to pull out in seconds & is easy to fold away too.
Body wise, the van is very good. I took some photo's of underneath while it was on the MOT ramp.
It is probably one of the most solid vans I have ever seen. I haven't seen anything as good as this in the last 10 years!
All the panels & seams look original with no crash damage or welding.
It has opening quarter light windows all round for those hot summer days.
Van is located in Chiddingfold but can be brought to Aldershot, Hants with some notice.
