Description
This MGC GT is a 1969 rust free manual car with its paint, wheels and chrome work in great condition and has been in my ownership for around 12 years. The car is painted in its original British Racing Green colour with a cream interior (although it comes with its original interior, which is in great condition). It also has a full history file with MOTs going back quite a while, which shows it’s been owned and looked after by enthusiastic owners. The underneath of the car is in great shape. I have recently spent a lot of money on the car, with the following work being carried out.
Rebuilt triple SU carbs with K&N filters
High torque starter
Stainless steel exhaust
Rebuilt brake servo
Rebuilt radiator
New water pump
Rebuilt heater
Chrome rocker cover
New fuel pump
New batteries
Power steering
New rear wings
New leaf springs
Moto Lita wooden steering wheel
Door bins
New p/ s castle rail
New inner and outer p/ s sills
New coil and rotar arm
New rear brake shoes
New misc items - gaskets, relays, rubbers, nuts and bolts etcThe MGC GT is a rare and desirable find, combining the authenticity of a true classic with modern refinements that make it a joy to drive whether you’re a collector, enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates British automotive history. This is a very reasonably priced and rare car that is only going to appreciate as there were only around 1500 RHD cars built, with those numbers having been reduced now. The reason for the sale is to fund another project.
