The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale is a classic Italian sports car, and is the lesser-seen Bertone designed coupe of the 1960s era.
This car is in excellent condition and highly original. It is powered by a 1. 3-litre DOHC inline-4 engine fed by twin Weber carburettors, and powered to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. It produces around 100 bhp and due to its lightweight construction and aerodynamic design, was one of the fastest cars of its class.
The car was assembled in Italy in January 1961 as confirmed by Alfa Romeo. It was first imported into the UK and registered with the DVLA in June 2013. The current and second UK-based owner has cherished this car for five years.

This Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale is finished in a vibrant red hue with chrome bumpers, over a grey and vinyl-trimmed interior with red piping and carpet. Both seats are in great condition.
It rides on 15-inch silver-painted steel wheels with polished Alfa Romeo hubcaps, and are fitted with period correct appearance Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.
Equipment includes a three-spoke period correct steering wheel, Veglia dials, a black vinyl-trimmed dashboard with mounted rear-view mirror, manual windows, basic grey and red door cards with storage pockets, red carpet mats with black rubber inserts, a selection of dashboard toggle switches, a Philips radio, and Carrozzeria Bertone sill covers.
Finally, this classic beauty comes with a spare wheel, registration document with matching numbers, FIVA identity card, various MOT test certificates, and some maintenance and parts invoices.
CONDITION
Please review the photos to see its condition both inside and out.
Being a classic Italian car, it would have benefitted from a respray sometime during its life but the paintwork is still very good apart from one or two bubbles on the rear quarter panels.
SERVICE HISTORY
The most recent maintenance was carried out in 2024. The work included an engine oil and filter change as part of a routine maintenance service and an inspection. The water pump was replaced. Previously in 2022, another routine service was conducted.
SUMMARY
This is truly a beautiful classic Alfa Romeo which only gets driven in the summer months. It has enjoyed driving trips in Europe without any issues. The car is regularly serviced with some service history and paperwork.
In order to truly assess its value, one must view it in person by appointment. Any discerning enthusiast will quickly understand and appreciate this genuinely beautiful and engaging classic Italian sports car. This would certainly be a wonderful addition to any real collector.
