My 1998 Lotus My s1 Elise I've owned 8yrs it really is super ballistic and one of a kind difficult choice as I love it amazing car just so brutal and at 52 really don't wanna kill myself on the roads and looking for something a bit more refined .

new chargecooler only thing that's failed on car in 7 yrs just had new clutch n fly as bite was getting high.
Was bare chasis built Maidstone 8 yrs ago and has done 30k ish since rebuild all photos and documented if my memory serves me right 7 owners but since rebuild 1 owner for 18 mths did 1500miles then me have done about 21k miles
Has few age related marks.

front splitter etc uprated toe links lots I've missed but just to give you a general ideaI purchased this car 8yrs ago after being employed by Lotus cars U. K.
The brand never really appealed to me until I was given an Elise 111R as a company car, that was it I was hooked !.
Having driven all models of Elise/ Exige I found the pure rawness and driver feel of a S1 was the car for me.
I originally purchased an Elise s1 190bhp with a turbo technics kit which I owned for 4yrs this was a great car.
As I kept checking classifieds with all Lotus related cars this S1 came up WOW what an absolute machine, I sold my original S1 and went to view this S1 Lotus machine.
This car as the story goes was purched by an elderly gentleman who was friends with James Hunt for years ago loved everything racing wise.
He took the car to Maidstone sports cars in Kent best in the business for Honda/ Elise conversions and said build me an absolute weapon of a car which is what they did, no expense spared and monies was obviously not an issue.
With 68k plus in build receipts all Maidstone sports car this car had a bare chassis rebuild shown in photos 10yrs ago.
It has been used driven and enjoyed and is an absolute incredible piece of engineering .
