FACEL VEGA HK500 Brunswick blue, black interior. Automatic gearbox. Right hand drive. Registration ok. Sold following death. Quality restoration in progress, to be finished. Has been done to date: - Body removed from chassis. Chassis sandblasted and epoxied. Front and rear axle fully restored. Fully stripped body, epoxy primer, polyurethane paintwork. All door and grille clearances have been revised and are perfect. The grilles fit perfectly, better than original. Wheels sandblasted and epoxied - Engine completely rebuilt. Rectified and sealed (new bearings, piston rings, etc.). New igniter. Unrestored carburettor. Water radiator rebuilt. Petrol tank OK - Gearbox to be restored - Upholstery completely redone (black leather). Wrapped and ready to be reassembled. Not the carpets, we still have the original carpets. All side and rear windows are new. All the chrome has been re-chromed. The stainless steel is partly restored and needs polishing. The bumpers have not been restored. - All the fittings have been sandblasted and epoxied. - Electrical wiring harness OK. Instrumentation OK. Modern electric window lift kit (Facel friendly adaptation) supplied - Electro zinc plated nuts and bolts - Visible in Aix-en-Provence, France. My father owned this car since 1992. He bought it from an Englishman who lived in Bédoin, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the Vaucluse region of France.
