Mechanically it is super, I have spent over £1300 within the last 6 months replacing the clutch and dual mass flywheel. Refurbished the ABS pump and replaced some coolant pipes. The windows and roof operate brilliantly so its ready to be driven and enjoyed now the sun is starting to appear again!
Sadly let down by the paintwork, stand back and it looks fab! I displayed it at last years NEC Classic Motor Show and it got so much love, but most panels have blemishes and scratches. The air conditioning doesn't seem to work.
For anyone who is seriously interested I would recommend you come and take a look at the car. If you're coming a long way I am happy to do a video call walk around the car with you. I do not enjoy selling cars though so if you're just flirting with the idea and aren't ready to buy please do not message me about it. This has to be the most attention grabbing and smile inducing car you can possibly buy today for less than £3k. This car owes me a lot more than the asking price. Take advantage of the fact I have been actually driving this car, identifying all the mechanical issues and paying for them to get fixed. Be a hero at your local cars and coffee this year and scratch the Avantime itch!
