This charming car has been lovingly maintained and upgraded over the years, has only 40, 000 miles on the odometer, and offers a fantastic blend of vintage style and engaging driving dynamics, perfect for sunny weekend cruises or spirited backroad adventures (it has certainly had plenty with it's current owner in Scotland!)

* Rust: No significant rusting apart from the underside of the left rear and some bubbling near the bonnet as a above. Mild rusting on side mirrors.
* Electrical: Speaker system wired with option of inserting radio. The current owner mounts a portable speaker on the dashboard which works just as well! Override switch installed. Hazard lights do stay constant rather than flash, wiring fix needed.
* Included: Car cover, spare wheel, engine oil. Original carburetors and spare parts can be posted if required.

* Roof requires replacement with small tears currently covered in tape.
* Side mirrors could be replaced due to mild rusting.

Driving Experience:
The Spitfire's lightweight construction and responsive handling provide an entertaining and nimble driving experience. The overdrive feature makes longer trips much more comfortable and allows for driving on motorways. Driving on the open road with the roof down on a sunny day is what the Spitfire is all about!

While not a full restoration, this Spitfire has benefited from significant mechanical work over the years. There are some minor cosmetic imperfections, such as some bubbling near the bonnet, and light rust on the side mirrors and a few optional minor fixes for the new owner.
