Selling for the proud owner who spent a living fortune on the car in 2021/ 22. A new building project now requires his time and financial commitment so it has been decided that this stunning car needs to be sold.
The car which had been in long term storage in the USA was imported and found to be in staggeringly amazing condition.
All old paint was stripped and the body was in incredible condition needing no repairs nor filler. It was cleaned and professionally painted in stunning Deep Blue and Gloss Black.
The Hickory wheels were professionally checked and repaired where necessary and then also painted to match.
New tyres and tubes were then fitted.
The engine had been rebuilt in the past with high compression pistons and an electric starter conversion.
It was checked and reassembled with new wiring and battery
The original 1913 leather seat back squabs were in incredible original condition so it was decided that they should be preserved and treated in Neatesfoot Oil and new leather base squabs manufactured on the original spring bases.
The hood frame is in great condition with a period custom cover incorporating a beautfully detailed glass rear window. The hood lining is a little stained from age.
The brass radiator has been professionally re-cored and pressure tested. The original acetylene gas lamps have been converted to electric halogen for practicality.
