If you are looking for a well priced and well spec’d family car, that comes with a long M. O. T and lots of receipts to show how well looked after the car has been, then this could be ideal.
I am a car trader that mainly deals within the trade (rarely retail a car myself and mostly trade direct to the trade) However, sometimes I acquire cars that the trade aren't interested in. Mainly because of age or mileage etc, and which I deem too good to send to a standard car auction.
In December, I acquired this very honest Mercedes direct from a reputable main dealer, where the previous local elderly owner had part exchanged it, along with another car (which I also bought) in order to downsize to just one car.
This fastidious gentleman had owned the car for the last 10 years, and having covered just 104, 051 miles from new, the car is a credit to him. He has ensured that the car has wanted for nothing and the invoices are present to confirm this.
As can be seen from my attached pictures, the car is in lovely condition inside and out. The paintwork is free from any nasty dents or scratches, and in my opinion it still looks modern. There is some rust on the bottom of the driver’s door, but that’s about it.
The interior, as mentioned, is also in lovely order. The full black leather seats are unmarked and compliment the car. The front seats are heated, and they work perfectly. In fact, everything inside works as it should. It has not been smoked in or used to carry any pets.
On the road the car drives very well with no untoward noises. The automatic gearbox is silky smooth, with gear changes hardly being felt. It pulls effortlessly and there is no smoke, either upon start up or under any driving conditions.
The M. O. T, which it passed with no advisories, is valid until the 29th of January 2026.
Tax costs are £415 per year or £36. 31 a month.
The car is free to use in any clean air zones and is also ULEZ compliant.
As stated briefly, there is a lot of service history with the car showing that no expense has been spared. The amount spent on it shows that the gentleman kept on top of everything and this is evident in the way that the car drives. The car was serviced in August last year and it had a new exhaust last May costing £271 (including fitting) As a preventative measure, I have replaced the automatic gearbox pilot bush – which is a common source of oil leaks, and fitted a brand new battery.
To sum it up - if you are looking for a genuine and a quality car at an affordable price, then this could be ideal. It has a long M. O. T, drives very well, has been looked after and still looks great. It really is a lovely car and I’m confident that the first person to view and drive it will buy it.
