Description
This is a very nice example of a 1971 wire wheeled, chrome bumper MGB Roadster. The car has been kept garaged since restoration and has not been used in the rain since. The body work and underneath of the car are in very good condition and the interior is good condition (see photos)
It has the following features:
- Chrome Bumper
- OverDrive switch (used in 3rd or 4th gear to add extra gear)
- Wire wheels
- Mohair hood with zip rear plastic window
It was restored in 1990 (approximately) and over the last 2 years has benefitted from:
- Hood Tonneau cover
- New water pump
- New clutch slave cylinder
- New distributor workings
- New Coil
- New Spark plugs and leads
- New Headlights'Alice' is in very good condition and drives very well. The overdrive can be used in 3rd and 4th gear (flick of the switch) and makes longer journeys with the roof down in the sun extremely enjoyable! The car hasn't been driven in the rain since approx 1990 and has been kept garaged. There is no sign of rust and the sills are in great shape (see pictures taken when having it checked out by a garage).
There is a spare wheel kept in the boot.
