Description
Six previous owners from the same company. I am the seventh. Service history contained within the log books. I have had this car from July 1998. It has a current MOT certificate 12 months.
I purchased this car from British Contintental Autos privately. Over the last four years refurbishment work has taken place on the car to bring it up to sellable condition. There are items that need clearing such as a new alarm and the passenger seat belt delivery system.
I will include a file which contains invoices and work schedules that have been undertaken over the last four years.
There are Mercedes accessories purpose made for this car including roof rack, ski rack, bike rack and snow chains.
Personal Number plate included. When I bought this car I was extremely attracted to the colour and the two door design of the car. It is also spacious enough to carry four people comfortably. It had most extras that a car of this era had available.
It is a very large grand touring car and very powerful. It is extremely comfortable on long journies. It is the epitomy of an extremely good classic car.
When initially purchased it was based in Pimlico, London and was used extensively on summer holidays and winter skiing holidays and travelled over most of Europe. During this time, it was also used for events at Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Members meetings to support my membership. In 2007, I moved to Folkestone where it is now based.
It was invited to be shown at the Old Timers Rally at the Grand Hotel in Folkestone in 2017.
