Description

This is a lovely bike in really exceptional condition as can be seen from the photos. With the exception of the twin leading shoe front brake and a 12v electrical conversion it is in standard specification for the year, with correct engine and frame numbers. The period accessory steel panniers and Craven luggage rack add, I think, to its appearance. Paintwork and brightwork are excellent.

The bike starts easily and reliably, as a BSA twin should, and runs really well. Both brakes are good and the clutch is effective and very light.

I bought the bike two years ago from its previous owner who had restored, maintained, ridden and won prizes with it for 26 years. I chose this one after an extensive search as it was far and away the best I could find.

Unfortunately changes in my personal circumstances mean that I'm reducing my small collection and I'm now very reluctantly offering the bike for sale.

Please feel free to give me a call to have a chat about the bike or to make an appointment to come and view.
