Widebody Westfield - Abandoned Build
This is a widebody Mazda based kit - I was planning on putting this through IVA over the summer, but life happens and I'm moving on.
The car is a full rolling chassis, engine turns over on the key, gearbox, suspension, brakes and steering are all hooked up.
Chassis loom is wired in and working (with the exception of the switches for the headlights)
All of the donor parts have been refurbished or replaced, all the hardware is new.
The donor V5 is registered in my name, and the numbers match the engine. The Westfield allocated VIN is factory stamped into the chassis (also have the Westfield VIN plate) - I've verified with the DVLA that the allocated VIN is fine and ready for IVA submission.
It's been built to pass IVA, R9 fuel pipe, everything clipped at the correct spacing, lights with the correct markings, radii requirements met etc.

The bodywork is complete other than needing a a good buff and polish from storage.
It really is very close to the finish line, outstanding items:
- Fresh tyres
- Dashboard - currently has a mock up in place, although to be fair this could just be wrapped and used
- Engine wiring up (stub loom included)
- Standalone ECU
- Header tank
- Front wheel arches fixing into place
- Finish trimming tunnel top area
- Screen fitting as per your preference
There is a box of other bits to come with the build including a boot box - I'm bound to have missed something obvious so happy to answer questions.
