A chance to purchase an Indian Boardtrack Racer Recreation.
These bikes are Not just wall hangers, these start and ride with circa 1950s engines.
Myself and Nick have owned one of these bikes each for quite a few years now.
With the x3 chain sprockets fitted these bikes are capable of approximately 60mph (I’ve only ever done approximately 40mph.
These are classed as not road legal, we ride on private roads/ estates and car/ bike shows and get many admiring comments.
We built our last bike in 2021 and it was sold.
The purchaser requested dark blue colour with gold Indian logo.
We’ve decided to build one more bike which we will complete and sell.
Exactly the same parts and dimensions as our completed bikes with same patina etc.
If you wanted to go flat out I would suggest getting better hub brakes laced into wheel.
These have x1 rear hub brake fitted.
Our bikes are in the India red colour but the colour can be the choice of purchaser.
Even the engines have a lovely retro sound to them.
A lot of the cosmetic parts are old stock which have original patina which helps the look of the bikes.
Indian logo on head stock.
Hand made, pressure tested fuel tanks and hand made parts of the frame which are very very close to original dimensions.
Great looking bikes which recieve much attention.
We are a good way through this build, wheels/ frame completed/ running engine fitted/ tank made.
All the other parts that we have on our bikes have been purchased for this build.
We have many photos and videos of our finished bikes if interested.
