1966 1380cc 125bhp 7 port fast road/ track day Mini (rebuilt into later shell)
Engine has only done 300 mls since full rebuild and only around 2000 mls since it was originally rebuilt.
Rebuild kit was supplied by Swiftune, new SW10 cam and followers, gaskets, ACL main and big end bearings and new vernier timing chain.
ARP rod bolts and head studs, steel centre strap, wedged crank that was
crack tested and polished. Lightweight steel flywheel with new clutch, new oil pump. Head was refaced and valve seats recut.
New Jenvey throttle bodies and all new Delta 400 ecu and electronics supplied by Specialist Components.
All set up on rolling road giving 125 bhp at the flywheel.
Kwick shift gear change.
Very solid shell having had an earlier restoration and a first class respray and full roll cage fitted. Underside has just been sprayed with Lanoshield.
Front suspension has adjustable tie bars and Gaz dampers, 4 pot alloy calipers and vented discs. New brake master cylinder, new clutch slave cylinder.
Rear has Superminifin drums and Gaz dampers with adjustable bias valve.
Genuine Minilite 6x10 wheels with Yokohama tyres. Comes with a steel bonnet and fibre glass bonnet for track days with extra ventilation.
Suspension originally set up by Andy Harrison at Acespeed. This is a quick car, but still very tractable for road use due to the injection and management system.
