If you know these P2 platform cars well, especially the petrol 5 cylinders. You will see many of these cars common problems (including the PCV system, VVT pulleys, steering rack) have been addressed on this one.
Most recent work was done in November last year/ 223k miles. Totalling a £2k+ bill with many genuine Volvo parts supplied by me. Carried out by 'The Volvo Workshop' in Wickford, where they commented on how clean an example this is.
- New genuine intake/ exhaust VVT pulleys.
- PCV system rebuild. New genuine breather box, breather pipe, revised banjo bolts etc. Whole system replaced.
- Genuine pads & discs all round.
- Genuine handbrake shoes + retaining springs.
- Front drop links + genuine top engine mount.
- Full service including new plugs. All genuine volvo.
I've also replaced the elbow that connects the charge pipe to the intercooler. Genuine Volvo, costed me £100.
It's also had a lot of love from the previous owners whom owned it for the last 5 years.
- Cambelt + water pump in 2023. £800 invoice.
- Genuine power steering rack + ABS system rebuild in 2020. £2k+ invoice.
- Wheels refurbished. I have no invoice for this, but as you'll see from the photos they clearly have been done. They look incredible, albeit with some kerb marks.
Interior shows its age/ mileage. With some cracking on the seats and the very common ripping on the handbrake & gear selector boots. But still some of the most comfortable seats you've ever sat in, and absolutely everything works. Even the retractable cup holder.
GROM BT-3 Bluetooth Module fitted. Utilises the CD Changer on the factory HU-803 head unit. Sounds awesome with the factory amp & speakers, and really adds to the car's usability.
Genuine volvo dog guard & boot liner also fitted by me, with new gas struts fitted on the dog guard.
Original mats included.
Exterior also presents very well for the miles. With the aforementioned wheel refurb & overall good condition of the paint, it looks really good. Not perfect, with marks etc to be expected but all straight with no dents.
Overall, a lovely example ready to take you absolutely anywhere. Drives lovely, AC blows ice cold etc.
