I know this van inside out, I have owned it since December 2013
Only Selling due to house purchase,
was originally intended to be my ‘forever’ vehicle

2013-2018 Full restoration of vehicle, costing over £45000 in parts and labour
I have a Folder of pictures documenting the whole project

All parts were chosen by myself and to my design

2018-current, Replacement parts as and when required no expense spared

Body Restoration included full removal and replacement of all rusted metal panels. including:
-Chassis rails repair
-front inner valance/ chassis rails
- new/ complete front panel ‘face lifted’ to early bay style with nicer low front indicators
- repair of front doors and wheel arches
- full new replacement inner and outer sills on both sides
- new/ chassis outer riggers x3 and jacking points x2 on both sides
-new/ front cab floor both sides-new/ rear floor both sides
-repairs to rear lower side panels & new wheel arches
- sliding side door repaired
-back outer corners both sides replaced
- rear chassis legs repaired
-new rear engine lid
- rear hatch repair
-restored and painted front bumper, new replacement rear bumper

Full body repaint in Fiat 500 blue/ vw pure white combination.

All doors, pop top roof & glass fitted with new rubber seals

3x new glass windows in rear, all others original
Side windows are opening

Fully built replacement interior,
camper conversion including custom built cabinet with full width rock and roll bed.
full carpet lining and insulation around all exposed panels.
No kitchen fitted as all cooking was to be done outside

full interior retrim in matching blue vinyl, including all door cards

Full replacement wiring loom, with split charge system and second “leisure” battery loom

Full engine strip down,
Engine block was cleaned and painted, fitted with new internal main bearings
New piston rings and all new seals. Upgraded to electric ignition in place of points and condenser
Mileage reset to 00000 at point of engine rebuild

New exhaust and heat exchangers & associated pipe work
Hot air fan fitted underneath to assist with hot air flow to the front

New CV joints and refurbished drive shafts

Repainted and oil changed gear box

Front and rear suspension refurbished and rebuilt,
Front beam adjuster fitted
Van lowered approximately 5cm all round

Wheels fully restored and painted in the body white, fitted with new white wall tyres

Steering & gear change systems restored
New master cylinder, replaced all brake pipes
New front callipers
New pads all round
New rear wheel cylinders, backplates and hubs

All control cables replaced (accelerator, clutch, heating)
Butties bits accelerator pedal mechanism fitted

All New lighting all round, hella headlights, tail lights, indicators

Devon pop-top removed, painted and mechanism restored
Concertina Canvas cleaned no holes (but ultimately needs replacing to be 100%)
