Morris original factory convertible 1969, snowberry white 92000 miles, 1098cc engine, owned by me last 14 years - prior to this it was in same family ownership 33 years!
It was restored to a very high standard about 21 years ago and still looks very presentable now with only a few small paintwork imperfections as per an older restoration, chromework is excellent.
Upholstery is very good, rear seat is the original, front seats are, I believe, Newton commercial with headrests. Hood isn't perfect - there are some small repairs but it is perfectly usable & doesn't leak.
Structurally it's excellent - there are some small welding repairs carried out to a high standard over the years and it was waxoyled about 2 years ago.
Engine compartment is really superb with some items- eg rocker cover - chromed.
Engine is the original 1098 unit with the addition of electronic ignition - car drives superbly, smooth and responsive.
This is one of the last original Morris 1000 convertibles registered as it's on an H reg - October 1969 - only 170 convertible models came out of Morris motors at Cowley in 1969!
This is a reluctant sale of a much loved original factory Morris convertible with low ownership & it's current condition shows how much it's been cherished over the years.
