Here for sale is my lovely 840ci Individual. I’m very sorry to see it go, but approaching home renovations means it must.
I bought it a year ago, as a birthday present for myself. The owner before me had it since 2003. (With 5 total).
Finished in BMW Individual ‘Aqua Metallic’ with Champagne on black interior, it’s a lovely looking thing and it has obviously been well cared for. It lives in the garage and comes out on nice days.
Although it’s approaching 30 and has a few blemishes, it presents very well. I’ve cleaned it, but only given it a gentle hand polish, to keep the paint work honest for any viewings.
There is a full lever arch file of service history, assorted invoices, MOT’s etc dating back over 20years. Nice low mileage example of a rare car.
In the last year it has had:
- Replacement headlining (a common issue on these).
- Sunroof mechanism cleaned & greased
- Various underbody parts cleaned and painted with POR15
- New auxiliary drive belt
- Recent comprehensive service (02/ 2025); Oil & filter, air filter, spark plugs, coolant & brake fluid all changed.
- New brakes on all 4 corners
- Fresh 12month MOT (no advisories)
The brake callipers appear to have been previously refurbished, as the paint on them is still in dry good condition.
The wheels were refurbished the year before I bough there car - all are in good condition with 1 having some light kerbing.
Only issues I am aware of are the vanity lights under the sun visors do not work and the rear sun screen works, but can be a bit temperamental.
Although it still had 6 or 7 months left to run, I have had it re-MOT’d, for the new owner’s peace of mind.
I think it’s priced pretty fairly for its mileage, condition etc: £14, 950A great example of an increasingly rare care. The looks, coupled with the brilliant M62 V8 make it a joy to own and drive. I don’t think any prospective buyer will be disappointed.
