Mercedes W124 260E saloon for sale. 173, 000 miles (absolutely nothing for these cars) Car is a very nice example with what many consider the very best engine option. It will require a degree of work to make it usable but not a huge amount. This car will be completely free to tax and MOT in 6 years time. The good bits: the car is pretty solid, not like many of those out there at the same age. I am only the third owner, the original lady owner had the car for 24years! It has a service book with 20 stamps, mostly Mercedes, It has had a brand new radiator and battery, water pump, belt and oil cooler hoses. I include in the sale several brand new parts including rear discs, pads and shoes, and a quality refurbishment kit for the rear suspension. It starts, runs and drives but is currently not MOTd Bad bits: it will require a bit of welding but not a great deal, there’s a smallish holes underneath and the rear inner arches will need tackling at some point. The front n-s wing looks to have been replaced but the paint is not a great match. One of the rear door cards has been removed but is complete and is in the boot and all tyres need replacing. All in all a very nice car worthy of a refurb. It is priced to sell with plenty of margin to do all the repairs necessary. The car is currently SORN so I won’t entertain test drives on the road, tyre-kickers or silly offers. I have two other projects on the go and sadly this one needs to go to a good home as I won’t get around to doing the work for some time. I have had the car for 2 years and have unfortunately been able to do little with it. These are great mercs and will only go up in value. The car will require a transporter or trailer for collection.
