1982 Mercedes 200 S123 200 T

Overview:
1982 Mercedes Benz 200T which has been owned since late June last year. We purchased the 200T specifically to complete a roadtrip up to and around Scotland (last photo) with the intention of selling the car onwards once the trip was complete hence the sale. The car was purchased from a keen mercedes enthusiast who conducted a full restoration in 2019 over the covid period. Whilst not mueseum quality, the car is a very clean and presentable example which has reliably completed 2100 miles to and around Scotland without fault. A long list of mechanical work has been carried out by the prevouis owner as well as myself resulting in a very complete and well maintained car.

Good Points:
Drives smoothly and really well as it should, starts reliably
Gearbox solid and changes as it should
Paint has odd age related mark but otherwise in very good shape
No dents or dings anywhere in the body
Complete with correct First aid kit, Warning Triangle and Jack
Lots of paperwork and history including restoration photos
Lots of spare parts included in the sale

Areas for Improvement:
Central locking does not work - believed to be door actuator - it is still possible to manually lock all the doors and secure vehicle
Some play in the steering
Interior is generally in good shape but could do with some TLC in places - rear interior panel around boot light sags, Sunvisor clips broken - wood veneer around hazard switch has cracked
Passenger seatbelt receptical has a broken casing but still functions as normal
Small hole/ wear in driver's seat base
