Great engine, bodywork and underneath. Regularly serviced. Average 5k miles per year. Gorgeous replacement green interior carpets and upholstery with with very little wear and no marks. Majority of restoration work done under previous owner. A beauty to drive daily and with smallish jobs to finish for a proud new owner. This is the third and favourite 230CE I've owned in thirty years.
Replacement panels all done and resprayed along with all welding needed for next decade done by previous owner, with small area near jacking point I had to get done for final MOT.
To do:
Replace small valance panel for windscreen wipers area (original has a bit of corrosion where the arm attaches). I have replacement.
Rear nearside electric window never worked, drivers window has just stopped - no motor sound, fuse?
The cable for the electric roof became detached from motor in boot. Motor runs fine, have replacement Merc seals kit for sunroof. Temp rubber seals around edge at the moment.
Comes with full set of door and boot locks and key - bought in a temporary key nightmare, but never fitted.
Rear side bit of chrome bumper has some rust beneath surface.
Great to drive as is with above list for enthusiast to sort.
I've had it love driving it for four years, but no time left to do those jobs.
Being completely honest as we've all turned up to view horror shows that said nothing in the description! Priced here to reflect work to do and to sell swiftly.
