For sale to the next custodian is my well maintained Bronze Yellow, MGB. I bought this vehicle 2 years ago with the intention of it being my forever retirement car. However, I’ve lost the garage I kept her in, and she is currently under a stormproof, breathable cover (Which will come with the car). She is a California import and converted professionally to RH when restored in 1993.
Serviced in summer, new battery, petrol tank, electronic ignition and vinyl hood. The wheels have also been restored. Stainless steel exhaust, creating that amazing MGB tone which sounds amazing. The car gets plenty of looks and questions about her and when washed looks really good.
It’s a great reliable car, which drives very well and starts on the button when used regularly, ideal for everyday use, weekends away and Sunday rides. Electronic ignition means it picks up speed really well, the engine feels really smooth, the four speed box engages as it should. Brakes, clutch, steering, and throttle all feel great. I have no record showing she has had a head change to run unleaded, therefore I use lead supplement.
She is classed as Historic, so no road tax and current Mot is valid until 7th July (Although as Historic, you don’t need to MOT her). All advisories were completed which were the brakes on rear and seat missing a bolt. Insurance Via Lancaster Services only £127 per year.
Potential buyers, please be aware she is not concourse, study the photos carefully. There is a bit of rust around the o/ s headlight and the seam on the wing and the rear chrome bumper has some pitting on. She alos has soem minor surafec bubbling on the Sill. She is solid all over (bill to prove) having been waxolyed when restored in 1993.
I have put a realistic price on the car, so it gives someone else a bit of scope to tidy up and still have a very nice Roadster. The vehicle is overall, a really solid car which is ready to be enjoyed! The vehicle is overall, a really solid car which is ready to be enjoyed! Large file of history comes with the car, detailing a substantial amount of money being spent (including restoration in 1993). Don't miss out on the chance to own and restore a piece of automotive history
