Restored & Redesigned - 1989 Austin Mini 30th Birthday Special Edition (1 of 375)
A very special little mini, one of 375 remaining, built to celebrate the icons thirtieth birthday. These birthday editions were really special, special in their history, their design and their interior.
This example is restored and redesigned, professionally tuned, safety checked, comprehensively serviced and ready to get behind the wheel of.
(a) Restored & Re-designed
Restored and redesigned, combining the iconic sports-pack arches with thirteen-inch wheels, spotlights with overrider bars, her stance is wider, more pronounced grip improved, her underside is mostly new, her engine is original and matching numbers.
(b) Getting Behind the Wheel of a Classical Rally icon
Behind the wheel she combines that raw feeling of power with 600kg of weight and that legendary, Monte Carlo rally-winning classic-Mini handling to provide you with a terrific and/ or terrifying driving experience. Fuelled by the classical carburettor fuelling method, she whisks you back to another era, the sounds and the smells of the sixties and seventies.
(c) Ready to Drive
Standing out, she's created so much fascination out and about, driven daily, being critical I would say she doesn't have an £8k paint job, but looks awesome. At some point, over 21 years ago, she had a minor bump, like most classic cars, albeit this was recorded, obviously any damage was restored and all parts would have been changed.
She’s ready to go, ready to drive, supplied with 12 months MOT and no advisories, fully and comprehensively serviced (engine and gearbox, brakes, cooling) and professionally tuned by a well known tuner to optimise her performance. She has a large history folder.
