This is a very special Bentley Continental GT Mulliner. The car was bought by its first mature, professional owner as a present to himself. He used the car only on dry days and special occasions; it was always garaged, kept under a Bentley indoor cover with its battery maintained by a Bentley charger. The car was maintained by Bentley dealers and serviced thirteen times by the time it had covered 17, 000 miles. Ill health finally forced the car's sale after fourteen years and just 17, 000 miles. I became the fortunate second owner and the car joined a small collection of Classics, used only in fine weather. I have continued with the same fastidious maintenance regime as the first owner. In addition to servicing, new batteries were fitted in 2023 and correct, new Pirelli tyres less than a year and 1000 miles ago. All servicing and maintenance is supported by invoices.
The colour is Cypress Green, the colour Bentley chose for the launch of the car. It is a subtle green/ grey which enhances the car's lines in an understated way. Seats and carpets are in Ochre, with the secondary colour being Laurel. The first owner chose Bird's Eye Maple (an extra), as the perfect complement to this colour scheme. In addition to the Mulliner Driving Specification, itself a £6000 extra, other extras included Ochre lambswool floor mats, a dual colour steering wheel and veneer door inserts. The invoice price was over £126, 000. The purchase invoice is with the car.
As evidenced by the photographs, the car is in superb condition and it drives faultlessly. The interior warrants special mention: it is barely distinguishable from new, the seats are uncreased, the mats and carpets are immaculate and the interior even smells new! The Bentley specialist who last serviced the car described it as completely exceptional.
Being a 2006 car, Road Fund Tax is usefully lower than for cars built a year or two later.
I know there are many Bentley Continental GTs for sale and some at lower prices than this, but if low ownership, history and quality are your priorities - as well as, perhaps, the most tasteful of colour combinations, I am sure you will not be disappointed with this car.
