Hello there.
For sale here is a 1980 450SL (r107)
In very good condition in and out.
Only 108000 miles from new.
This car has been shown lots of love and it shows from it's condition.
The paint work is in very good condition.
The interior is almost all new. I changed all the leather in the car. It came with a very poor set of replacement leathers and it just did not look right. The leather now is perfect with the right colour and the right perforations.
The carpets are all new.
The steering wheel is new wooden more sport wheel. (the original will come with the car)
I don't have a service book for it but I do have lots of paperwork to show the attention that went to this car and to also verify the milage.
The front suspension is all new.
New spark plugs.
New HT leads.
The soft top is a little worn but with no rips or damage. not letting in water. new rubbers. The reason why I haven't changed it is that it is the original Mercedes soft-top.
The car is registered as a historic vehicle so no MOT and road tax. Also no ULEZ for London.
The car drives perfectly with a proper V8 sound. Goes through the gears, kicks down and stops as it should.
All in all a lovely car. A real head turner.
