Original 1982 Mercedes 280sl in Astral Silver with low mileage (43k) and very well looked after. Road tax and MOT exempt. Supplied new by Jackson’s Mercedes in Guernsey, Channel Islands and kept for 17 years by first owner and 17, 000 miles. Bought into the UK in 1999 and all taxes paid with receipts.
Fully serviced by Mercedes and Mercedes-Benz specialists and well maintained with lots of documents and old MOT’s to prove provenance.
Everything in order and works and starts on the button. Recent automatic gearbox service, brake fluid change and suspension bushes changed. Stainless steel exhaust. Soft top is hardly used and hardtop included in the sale. Car was MOT’d late last year and passed with flying colours and no advisories. No sign of rust under a body or in the known places.
