Description
The car is a 1993 TMX, V8 3. 9 in ice blue and cream. It has done 21K miles from new.
The car was owned at one point by Frederick Forsyth the author of Day of the Jackal ( Latest version on SKY) , There is loads of documentation with the car and its, MOT’d until May 2025 .
The car has a cream leather interior, walnut dash and trims. It has a new blue hood and tonneau on, new discs and pads all round, new plugs, points and leads, all oils changed, new K&N air filter and a steering overhaul. Rover 3. 9 V8 engine. Piper Cross cams, XJ6 rear axle, rover 5 speed gear box, Ford steering. Comes complete with full storm cover, soft top cover and rear luggage rack and tyre inflation kit.
It has a car specific registration with road legal and black and silver show plates, number is MXZ 3900.
I have a large brake disc kit with 4 pot calipers ready for fitting. The leather gaiters on the gear stick and handbrake could do with renewing, although still acceptable, wheels have been refinished last year and the bumpers are a little pitted in places, mainly on the over-riders. All in all though a very tidy car.
Only Selling due to health reasons and not having time to use. I bought this car with a view to attending classic car shows and general summer Sunday day outs , unfortunately health issues have prevented usage . That said it always turns heads when out and attracts attention at shows .
