This is a 1967 Typ 2 Split Screen Camper Van Wth a Personal number plate TYP237 This is a show winning van and is in very good condition, it needs someone to look after and appreciate this lovely camper van. It is also RHD. You need to read the Volks World Camper Magazine 2006 Issue number 7 to really appreciate what has been done to this van More photo's and a walk round video can be done later. It is time to sell Eric's 1967 Typ 2 Split Screen Camper Van.
It won Best Modified Bus at the VW Show at the 2006 Kent Hop Farm, there is a seven page write up by Matt Keene, also photo's by Dan Pullen, in the Volks World Camper Magazine 2006 Issue 7. It is still in very good condition to this day, It has Porsche 944 front brakes to match the the rears, also OG Porsche Fuchs wheels and Pirelli P6000 tyres, OVO coil assisted shocks, a 1600 twin port motor mated to A typ3 transmitsion, CB Performance maxi pump. externial oil filter and a Mocal 16 row oil cooler, fitted with a pair of Weber 34 ICT carburettors, 5/ 8 inch header and a home made muffler system using a Kawasaki ZX7R Exhaust.
There is a private number plate TYP237 Twin Roof Racks, an awning and other camping gear with this van, the van has just been serviced and is going to have a full valet before it is sold, I expect that I have missed a lot out, but you need to read the magazine to appreciate what Eric has done.
