BMW 1600 E10 ALPINA 08/ 1967 - 28900 kms - Exceptional condition French collector's registration. Expert report. Warranty 6 months - Delivery possible. Extremely rare our BMW 1600 E10 ALPINA was sold new in Switzerland in 1967. In "Tampico" colour with caramel interior, the colour combination is of the most beautiful effect. Its first owner had it prepared for ALPINA with a set of 2 Solex 40 PHH carburettors, a stainless steel Spaghetti exhaust, front and rear stabiliser bars, aluminium rims, special steering wheel and knob, wider tyres and sports suspension. The engine produces around 120bhp and is mated to a 4-speed gearbox, giving the car a top speed of 191kph. Founded in 1965 by Burkard Bovensiepen in Bavaria, Alpina was originally a car tuner for the Bavarian manufacturer BMW. Right from the start, the quality offered by Alpina meant that BMW continued to apply its guarantee to modified cars. The serious and substantial preparations meant that ALPINA was recognised as a car manufacturer as early as 1983.
