Description
RHD. Believed to be 1 of 64 cars produced in 71. Owned for 8 years. Regular serviced. Ivory white with contrasting black interior. An older restoration at a cost, in excess of £30, 000. When I purchased the car I was told it was Matching numbers. However since ownership I have found a pencilled note to the effect that the 5 speed dog leg gearbox had been replaced in 87, I can’t confirm either way as this as never bothered me. Comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Shod in Original Fuchs with Pirelli tyres The Weber carburettors have been cleaned and balanced.
Comes complete with its original hand and service books bound in a Porsche folder together with extensive service history. The 911T shows no signs of corrosion, on the body or floor pan. The car can be lifted and any inspection welcome.
Not the original seats, Italian reproductions I think from around the early 2000, however I have had the centres upholstered in Porsche houndstooth. The rev counter is not the correct one showing the red line in wrong place, this was loaned to me while mine was sent for repair, however sadly the well known specialist died and my rev counter got lost.
However I do have a correct one, but I have not got to round to fitting it, as the one fitted works OK. There is a tool roll, but the the jack looks to be reproduction.
If I can work out how to do it, I intend to post some videos, one of the under side and the other of the first cold start this year.
Reason for sale, health. It does attract attention were ever you go and being RHD makes it a bit special.
