Description
The car has been in the family since new in 1990. Used regularly and garaged, serviced annually, MOT'd until May 2025. Bodywork in good condition, car was professionally re-sprayed (due to red paintwork fading in the sun) in 2016. Scratch and small dent on bonet. Repairs to a hole in the passsenger footwell were undertaken by classic car mechanic in 2021. Work will be required to petrol tank breather pipes and brake pipes (MOT advisories). Slight whine in power steering when the vehicle is cold which ceases after warming up. Leather interior is now also ready for restoration due to general wear. Car runs well. The front lower spoiler fareing is missing (see photos). The 318is is a fantastic car to drive, great road handling, sporty and fast. Real BMW style from a great period in the design of their cars. With it being in the family for its' whole life, we have a pretty complete service history!
