1955 Ariel Cyclone 650cc Twin
This beautifully Ariel Huntmaster has been restored to Cyclone trim, the American version of the Huntmaster. Key differences include alloy guards, high handlebars, and some other cosmetic upgrades. The restoration has been completed to a high standard, with only 550 odd miles covered since the work was done. The upgrades include a large bearing crankshaft, Spitfire cam, alloy auto advance, engine overhaul, magneto, dynamo, and gearbox overhaul. It also features stainless fittings, a new silencer and exhaust, new bearings and brake shoes, new tyres and tubes, new dual seat, stainless rims and spokes, and a dry clutch.
Recently, the joints, battery, and cogwheel were also replaced.
The carburetor may need a quick check, specifically the idle jet or choke system. Additionally, like other bikes from this era, it requires lead to be mixed with petrol.
A wonderful classic bike in great condition, ready to be enjoyed and cherished!This bike sounds amazing and is an absolute pleasure to ride. Unfortunately, due to a move, I no longer have the space to store it, and it's now looking for a new owner who will appreciate its charm and craftsmanship (comes with its workshop manual).
