Eddie sits on a replacement galvanised chassis and has a good solid bodyshell, with any welding work having been carried out previously and has been Dynax wax treated underneath. This 2cv has been well looked after over the years - which is borne out by a comprehensive folder of history, old MOTs and receipts for maintenance work - and many new parts have also been fitted recently.
Mechanically, he runs well, starts on the button, everything works properly and drives as a 2cv should. He benefits from a new battery, coil and Boyer Bransden electronic ignition.
Eddie's interior is neat and tidy and benefits from a new, high quality Matts soft top roof and plush Charleston type seat upholstery. Externally he is finished of with some nice touches - a chrome grille surround, headlight shells and wheel trims, a stainless vent flap and posh 'Robri' stone guards on the wings.
Overall a good well sorted 2cv that can be driven and enjoyed. With spring just round the corner why not treat yourself :-)
