1991 Saab 900 Classic Auto with 166k miles sold and maintained by Saab specialist Perry & Prowse here in Taunton. Auto gearbox smooth and refined and the engine still knows how to thrill and put your back into the driver's seat. 4 door model which is so practical without compromising the shape (looking at you saloon!).
Sunroof operates as it should and does not leak. All switchgear operates correctly (electric windows front and rear), no rips or tears on seats and the headlining is in great condition. Door bottoms on all 4 doors solid. 2 keys are present and the V5C is in my name. 6 former keepers in 34 years. MOT to 30/ 7/ 25 with no advisories. This is my 4th Saab 900 (bought and sold many Saabs, Volvos and old Mercs)
Paintwork is in very good condition (as can be seen by the photos) and she scrubs up well with Cirrus white being a perfect 900 colour (IMO). Aero alloys complete the picture.
The car is not concours (but then neither is the price) and there is a tiny bit of paint blistering on the side of the bonnet lid (drivers side) and again on passenger front wheel arch (both of these are very small and you would be hard pressed to see if not really examining car). I am just mentioning to be completely honest. The top of both rear doors below the 1/ 4 panel window have some oxidisation which is a common problem with 4 door model and needs to be sanded back and repainted every couple of years. They don't bother me and serve as a reminder that this is a 34 year old car and not a modern Euro box. Photos of these areas are shown on the last 3 photos. This is an honest, unmodified daily driver that turns heads every time I take her out.
Car is garaged in a lock-up and only taken out on dry days. Purchase of a quirky French classic car in the last 2 weeks forces sale as garage will be needed (and a lot of TLC!)
Car is located in Taunton, Somerset (main town so on the main London trainline) and is within walking distance of Taunton train station.
